Writing credits include: Bonus Material (One Act Play); Between Two Floors, Cards on the Table; Self & Hafety (Television series, in development with Mark Harold); Short Back & Sides & The Last Three (Two short screenplays with Alex Hillman). With Ben, Matt has co-written four complete musicals: Blood Runs Deep, Gangland, Nonnunquam and The Eighth Square. He and Ben are currently working on their fifth musical; an original show based on the life of Charlie Chaplin. In his time at Sixth Form College, Matt also regularly contributed to the magazines, ‘Atomic Goose’, ‘Structural Damage’ & ‘My Muse Ran Away’.

Matthew dedicates The Eighth Square to his fiancé, Amelia.
