Alison
was born in Ayrshire, Scotland and even after living in Portsmouth
for years is still referred to as a foreigner. Ask her and she’ll
tell you she brings exotic mystery to the production. Alison has
been involved with theatre for twelve years but her ‘trade’
is music. She has been playing piano for over ten years, saxophone
and clarinet for nine and if you are very lucky she’ll occasionally
give you a bit of folk music on the guitar. As well as music, she
has credits in dance being part of M&M Dance from a young age
and later teaching ballet, tap and modern stage. The move from performing
to producing and technical management came from Alison’s prolific
talent in schedules and itinerary’s, but seriously for her
love to keep theatre a popular form of artistic expression.
